Addendum to Stability Booklet

Post-modification stability addenda maintaining Class compliance after conversions or refits.

Overview

When a vessel undergoes structural modification, equipment change or a new operating profile, the existing Stability Booklet must be updated through a formal addendum. We prepare addenda that address the specific modification while retaining consistency with the parent document.

Each addendum re-verifies the affected loading conditions, updates the lightship particulars where required, and re-confirms compliance against the current damage stability regime. The addendum is submitted directly to the vessel's Classification Society for review and endorsement.
